CONSTIX SF-6 sealed foam swab consisting of 100 PPI polyurethane foam adhesive-bonded to a flexible nylon tip. The tip is mechanically secured within a tubular polypropylene handle.
The polyurethane foam head provides good particle entrapment for removal and solvent compatibility. The absorbant foam enables solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol, to be readily sorbed for applications involving solvent delivery or removal.
Though compatible with many common solvents, the SF-6 is not recommended for use with ketones such as acetone or MEK.
